It's Quiet Here...

On my walk in the afternoons, this is what I see...
Crunchy dry leaves covering the trail...
Lots of woods...thinking maybe I should be wearing
Hunter's Orange this time of year...
You can barely see the new house we're building from here...
The base of this tree looks like a giant hand...
Not sure what this reminds me of...
And I don't know what is growing on this tree...
I could've lived in Fern Gully...
Even old fence posts are nature's art to me...
An old tool sharpening stone and iron bucket
belonging to my husband's family is not out of place here...
Sometimes I think about how people used to live years ago
and how things have changed...
It's quiet here...
Sometimes I need that...
Me, God, the Trees, my Thoughts...
Fuels my Creativity...
